Would you like to volunteer at Small World? If so, we need American women with teaching experience who are interested in teaching women from other countries and cultures. Also needed are women to assist a lead teacher and/or substitute whenever needed.
Classroom Assistant Teacher
A degree in education, ESL or related field is preferred. Teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage, but not necessary. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1-2:30 pm.
Classroom Assistant
Female KU student majoring in education, teaching ESL or related field and can commit to volunteering Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1-2:30 pm.
Library Assistant
We need someone who is friendly and willing to volunteer on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Duties include: assisting our librarian with processing new books, shelving books and helping students to choose appropriate books for their English ability level. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our International students.
