(Enrollment continues throughout the semester.)
– Our Spring 2027 classes will be held Jan. 12 – May 6.

Our Program
Small World is an English language program for adult women. Small World gives women the opportunity to learn English or improve their English skills as they meet and socialize with international and American women.
– When: Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-2:30 pm.
– Where: 2415 Clinton Parkway, Lawrence, inside the First Presbyterian Church (see Contact page for map).
Small World semesters and holidays coincide with the KU and Lawrence public schools academic calendars.
Tuition and Ongoing Enrollment
Tuition is $20 per semester or $35 if you pay for two semesters. Students may not attend class until they have paid their tuition. Some classes will be asked to purchase text books as well.
Women may enroll at any time during the semester, subject to availability. Classes are taught at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels by experienced English-speaking teachers. All classes are taught by women. Students are moved to the next level when the teacher feels the student has achieved the ability to proceed.
