Guided Tours: Getting to Know the Community
A group of Small World students, teachers and volunteers took a guided tour of the Lawrence Public Library in Dec. 2023. Thanks to the library staff for explaining all the resources that are available in the building and online, for adults and children!
Assemblies
Assemblies celebrate and demonstrate American holidays and customs, as well as shared traditions from other cultures.
Potlucks
An opportunity to share and taste ethnic food from around the world.
Evening Socials
Over the years, monthly gatherings have been held from May through October in private homes. (No classes are held in the summer.) We welcome new volunteers who wish to host these relaxing evenings of conversation and refreshments in an American home.
